Pet Of The Week!!!

Cody L.

Hello, my name is Cody and I'm a 1 1/2 yr old german shepard mix who's filled with oodles of energy!! I've been coming to Best Friends now for a little over a year, and OMG it's Woof-Tastic!! You see I used to board and my mommy would put me in their playgroup which is 45 mins of pure bliss playing with some fuzzy friends. But now they have a new programs called Play N Stay and it's only $3 dollars more than the playgroup and I get a minimum of 4 hours of group play a day!!! Kudos to my mom, that $3 is the best money spent on me here at Best Friends yet!!! So talk, well woof, to your moms and dads that you wanna join me in Best Friends Play N Stay!!

Cinco de Mayo daycamp party

CINCO DE MAYO
II YII YII YYIIIIII!!!

Party time came again this week in time for the Cinco De Mayo celebration. No tacos allowed but plenty of fun and goodies for all. Rosie has the Sombreo look down pat, but Buddy, co-operative though he was, would have prefered Siesta time instead!
Spanky on the other hand was more than ready to play the part of the Bandito, stealing hearts and treats alike! We play, we party, we have a good time, astested by the smile on Mulligan's face. They all love party time just as much as we did and the owners all get an adorable picture to take home with them. Party time had well over a dozen revelers, but we always have room for more. Keep us in mind for our next DayCamp party, just in time for the Indy 500, on May 20th.

It's that time of year again. Happy parents, sad children, it's back to school time. New clothes , new shoes, school supplies, bookbags, doctor appointments, all part of the school rush. The big yellow bus comes along & poof, the kids are gone for the day! It may be that time of year when you need a break, but how about the family dog? All he sees is this big, noisy vehicle taking away his playmates.

Now what can he do all day? No one to play with, nothing to do. Eventually the boredom will set in & he'll make his own fun. He didn't chew up the homework to create trouble, but he was bored! But wait, how about doggy daycamp? Bring him to us, let him play in a secure, fun enviroment with new playmates of the 4 legged variety. We offer daycamp Monday through Fridays from 7:00am to 6:00pm. He can come as many or as few days a week as you wish. We've also recently started puppy daycamp for the younger set. (under 5 months of age) They can all play & romp & have a great time. No more worries about chewing up the homework, or the bookbags, or the new shoes. We have camp theme parties too. Our next party is "TIKI Friday" on August 14th. Join us for fun & games.

St. Patricks Day party in Doggie Day Camp

Every holiday we try to have a party in Doggy Day Camp. March 17 was our St. Patricks Day party. We had 21 dogs come to the party. They spent some time outside playing in the pool, yes it was warm here yesterday and just having fun running and chasing each other. We also took individual pictures of each camper and made cards with their pics in them. They went home with goodie bags, their card, and a bandana. We had some worn out puppies!!
