Hello may name is Jake. I am a Golden Retriever. I am an older gentlmen that feels young at heart. When my family goes out of town I love to come and stay at Best Friends. I love to explore outside and play with my spike ball. I also love being petted when people walk past my room. When it is time to go home I get a refreshing bath so that I am handsome for my family.

I have a brother and sister that I love to run and play with.
When I start looking shaggy my family brings me to the spa at
Best Friends to see my Groomer.
Mom and Dad also bring Tigger and Quigley for a spa day.

 When Claire is all done I look and feel like the most handsome guy.

Makeover Of The Week 3/13/2010

Hello, my name is Maxwell and I am a Bichon Frise. In the late 1800's Bichon's were used to lead the blind and to perform tricks in the circus. And let me tell you, when it comes to my groomer Sara, there are no tricks about it...she's the BEST!! As you can see I traded my longer winter do in for my shorter summer cut! I feel like a whole new dog! Thank you so much Sara!!!

Pet Of The Week 3/13/2010

Hello, my name is Onyx. I am a DSH black kitty cat. Contrary to belief, us black cats are not bad luck nor do we have bad luck. I have really good luck actually!! I was a shelter kitty and they brought me to Best Friends to stay until I found a new home. I got adopted and came back to stay for the week and it was a blast!! I got playtimes everyday and so much lovins! I have a home away from home at Best Friends!

Makeover of the Week 3-6-10

  

Hi, we’re Leo and Shadow, and we are Standard Poodle puppies. This is our very first big boy haircuts. Our older brothers “Ace” and “Quincy” just had their hair done &  they look fantastic. We were so impressed      with their new “do’s” that we decided to put away that puppyhood image and make a change.

                                                                                                             

Gone are the days of flyaway hippie hair! Its time to grow up & become the fine upstanding little fellows hidden inside. What do you think? Don’t we look great? But, don’t be fooled! Though we look all grown-up, we’re still all puppy inside!

Hello, my name is Kodiak. I’m a German Shepherd. I am an older gentleman, but I love staying at Best Friends. Whether it’s a pat on the head, outside exploring time, playing with my soccer ball or a kiss & a cuddle, I just love all the attention I get. I always bring my pillow & blankey with me too, and my Best Friends always make sure I’m nice & cozy in my suite. Before my mom picks me up, I always get a refreshing bath, which makes me feel GREAT! A big THANK you to my mom for letting me stay at Best Friends.
