Hello! My name is Sparkle. I am a four year old Miniature Poodle.  This is my first visit to Best Friends.  I board with my housemate and best buddy, Koda.  He is a eleven and a half year old Great Pyranese.  We are quite a pair and like to play, play, play!  As you can see from my before picture, all my playing gets me quite shaggy and tangled.  Today I am getting a complete makeover from the awesome groomers at Best Friends before I go home from my boarding stay.  You won't even recognize me after my haircut and bath!  I'm ready to do it all over again!

Hello my name is Ziggy. I am a 3 year old Cockapoo. This is my first time coming to Best Friends for grooming. As you can see from my picture, I love to run and play. This is why my Mom brought me to Sara for a bath and haircut. I am a shaggy boy, but I clean up very nicely!

Hello my name is Oliver and I am a toy poodle that is going to be 2 years old very soon. As you can see from my before picture, I like to get down and dirty playing and having a good time at home. Then I like to come see Claire at Best Friends for a bath and haircut so I can look fresh and handsome again. When Claire is all done, I will look like the most handsome guy you have ever seen.

No matter how I look when I come in I

always go home looking like I am ready

HI! My name is Abby.

I am a Havanese and truly adorable.

As you can see we can get just a bit on

the shaggy side when our hair grows out but not to

worry, my new favoritest groomer Sara does a FAB

job on me and turns me back in to GORGEOUS!

Mom brought in details on how she wanted me done and

as you can see....Sara followed it to a T and made

me look great and made mommy happy. If you want

to look as wonderful as I look (and feel!) come in and

see Sara. She will fix you right up too!

HI! My name is Bow (sounds like a Christmas *Bow*).

 I am an American Cocker. I've been coming to see my

 Best Friend's Groomer, Sara for over a year now.

She always makes me look and feel SO wonderful.

My mom makes sure I come regularly so I never

get unruly in my hair style, but the work that

Sara does on me makes me even

 more *stylin'* then ever!

HI! My name is Honey. I learned my name fast because

everyone calls me that, even before they know it is my name!

My mommy brought me in for a bath and a hair cut today.

I got to meet my groomer Tina who promised to have me

looking my best in no time.

And as you can see she kept her word! Oh my Dog I feel SOOO

much better to be rid of my heavy duty coat. Especially as hot

as it has been. Now when I itch I can feel the scratch! And I know...

I look every bit s good as I feel! Thanks Tina! You did a wonderful job!

HI. My name is Mabel. And I am a Persian. That is of

the Cat variety. Now as I am sure you can tell, us cats

are NOT so fond of water. Except to drink it. Definitely

not for a bath! That's an *enjoyment* better saved for

the canine version of the pet world. However, the bath

and all aside, I do go home looking and feeling SO much

better.

This hair cut thing? It's called a Lion cut. Now that's

a name I can live with. A Lion. Not only does it make me feel

more comfortable it makes me sound sleek, dangerous and

on the prowl! MMEEOW! So a big hearty thanks for my mom

and my groomer, Sara. These hot summer days may feel a

little more tolerable now.

I'm an English Cocker Spaniel. My mommy takes

really good care of me but sometimes my hair starts to

 look a bit mussy. When it does she brings me in to my favorite

 groomer, Claire. Claire always turns me back into

quite the glamour girl!

I always feel SO much better after my*spa* day. I get

moisturized, my teeth get brushed and I get my nails

done. AAhh the full Spa treatment! YES!

Hi! My name is Scout. I am a Lab mix

and now that Best Friends has this new

Customer Stay option I am LOVING it

here. Why you ask?

 

Because it means I get to play outside for

an extended time. We get to play in the pools,

bark at birds, chase each other or just sun

bathe. AAAHHH....This is SO much fun!

HI! My name is Kiley. I am a Wheaten

Terrier. Our coats can be really hard

to manage. It's not hard for my groomer

Claire to fix me up and turn me back into

a managed gorgeousness!

She does a terrific job even though I love

to wiggle when she works on me. She says

I'm a good kid, I've just got more fun energy

in me that my body can handle!

groomer Tina and she transforms me from

rough N tumble, to soft and fabulous in no

time at all!

HI! My name is Jazzy. And even though

I am a Black Lab by breed, you can see I

live up to my name. I really am a pretty *Jazzy* girl!

I love it when I get to stay at Best Friends, playing outside

in the yards is my favorite (next to meal time that is!).

Best Friends has this new thing called

Play N Stay and it means I get to play all

day with my friends while I stay here!

WOOHOO! Way cool! But boy do I sleep better at night!

my Best Friends groomers every few months.

I play with my little sister

Gretta and we both get a bit *rough* on

the exterior from our play. No matter,

this time Sara and Tina spent the day making us both

gorgeous and we go home happy clean

as a whistle* puppies!

We enjoy our spa

days and our mommy enjoys the outcome

I like to come see my groomer at Best Friends because they understand my age and the need to rest often. They take such great care of me and I always look, feel, and smell so terrific when they are done. Other then the kisses I get here and at home and my dinner and goodies, what more could an older gent like me wish for?

Hello my name is Quito. I am a Bichon. As you can see from my picture I love to run and play. When it is time for a haircut my family brings me to see Claire at Best Friends. No matter how hard I play and mess up my hair, Claire knows how to make me look great. If you like to play hard and get dirty, you should have your family bring you to the groomers here at Best Friends and they will make you feel great like me.

Hi, my name is Abigail and I am a beagle mix. My parents bring me in to Best Friends every couple of months to have me get a bath and brush out. They also get me the shedicure treatment(which is AWESOME!!) to get out all of that loose winter coat fur. You would think I would be naked after loosing so much fur but I come out all shiney and not so fuzzy!! My parents really appreciate this!! So if you're fuzzy, or not, come and see the groomers at Best Friends. They will have you feeling like a whole new dog!!!

Hello, I am Tessa and I am a 4 1/2 yr old Golden Retriever. I come to Best Friends to be boarded, get groomed and to also attend Doggy Day Camp! I love playing with all of my buddies!!! On the 16th we celebrated our "Go Green" party!! My human best friends sent a flower home with a fun picture of me and all my furry friends for my mom and dad. My parents love sending me to camp because I get to use up so much energy and make so many new friends!! Best Friends has it all!!! Come and join me in camp, I will show you the ropes!!

HI! My name is Sam. I am a Beagle mix even though my Beagle Genes run deep! I enjoy staying at Best Friends because everyone here loves me SO much. They all tell me what a good boy I am! I can still get that distinctive Beagle sound out there on ripe occasions.

Hi! My name is Auggie. I am a Sealyham Terrier. Our breed starts off very active as puppies but we tend to become couch spuds as we mature. (shhh don't tell mommy this!) We just turn our energies into loving not running. We make great cuddlers as we get older.

I've been boarding at Best Friends but at the end of my stay I get to have a bath and a hair cut so I can go home looking gorgeous as usual. My groomer, Tina, did a fabulous job on me! (but then I gave her a good *canvas* to work with too!)

MEET THE STAFF

Please give a big WELCOME to our newest staff member TINA

Tina joined us as an experienced Groomer after our friend/groomer Carolyn decided to move to a warmer climate. Tina lives at home with her husband and their two cats Patches and Pockets. They will soon be welcoming a new additon to their family, a Boxer named Aiyana.

Tina has been a groomer for a few years, but most recently here at Best Friends where she's been with us for about 2 weeks now. Tina is proving her experience and love of the job with her efficiency and talents in grooming. Her clients definitely go home looking feeling and smelling better then ever!

When Tina isn't hard at work at Best Friends you might find her at home reading or gardening or taking the dog for a walk. She enjoys reading her favorite author; Stephanie Meyers or watching her favorite movies. Tina has an eclectic mix of movies ranging from Twilight, New Moon and Silver Buillet to lighter fare like The Wizard of Oz and Little Mermaid. Hey we can't be serious minded all the time! If Tina and friends or family go out to eat she prefers to go to Bennigans.

Tina says she really likes working with the others here at Best Friends and she enjoys her clients just as much. When she grows up Tina would like to be a mommy!
